Nice Bettie blurb. There's one tidbid that's wrong. The photo of Bettie at Playboy's 50th wasn't her only recent shot there. When Bettie turned 80 -- and Hef turned 77 -- Hef brought her to the Mansion for a surprise party. (You can tell it was a surprise because her locks were gray.) Her photo was printed in Playboy with Hef and Olivia -- who created a Nurse Bettie image for the occasion.

Couldn't agree more. MTV has become a hollow shell of compliant sponsors whose only raison d'etre is sucker the demographic into buying, buying, buying more. MTV should be ashamed of itself, but won't. Yes, video killed the radio start, but moolaa, greenbacks,greed, killed MTV. The same applies to us Canadians who've seen MuchMusic degenerate into a inconsequential clone... Oh well, we don't run the world but let's not let them rule us.
