The King Collar

c>log
The 70s is noted for being a somewhat dorky and gaudy decade; but, nowhere is this more apparent than in the fashions of that decade. Polyester, bell bottoms, patent leather, big shirt cuffs and big shirt collars. But, as all decades and their adherent fashion trends progress they eventually begin to mock themselves which is a sure sign of the decline of that decade. Point in case, the airplane collar; or, in this instance The King Collar. Way out of proportion, this collar reaches a level of ridiculousness that actually becomes a parody of itself and the times in which it was worn. Thanks for visiting and please come back often!
