UPDATED! 6 New Creepy Retro Kids added ....
Here is a small collection of really weird looking children that appeared in print advertisements during the 1950s and 1960s. This was before commercial photography was used in earnest in print advertising. The ads were usually idealized illustrations such as these. Photography eventually took over illustrations as the preferred graphic content of advertisements. But, the intense looks of concentration and enjoyment at the advertised products are just as amusing. By modern cultural standards, these kids just look plain tweaked out. Thanks for visiting!
