UPDATED Photo Series: Brownie Turret 8mm Movie Camera

c>log
These images are of a vintage Brownie 8mm f/1.9 8mm movie camera (circa 1958). The first moments of many lives were filmed in glorious color on one of these cameras. You wound up the key and the camera made a wonderful clicking sound that could only come from a running movie camera. These images also represent from first experiments with the new Nikon Nikkor 35mm f/1.8 AF-S prime lens mounted on the Nikon D90. The lens was opened all the way to f/1.8. Incredible depth-of-field and luscious bokeh. Thanks for visiting and please come back often!
