Nothing Quite Says Scary Like An Evil Clown

c>log
Nothing quite says scary like an evil clown. The evil clown has been a persistent element of horror in our popular culture for years upon years. The image of an evil clown is that of horror, a disturbed mental condition and a very dark sense of humor. The clown's trick of exaggerating body parts and expressions is often perceived as monstrous and very terrifying. If you have a fear of clowns, then your condition is known as coulrophobia. It may have begun in your childhood when you were just beginning to process visual information, especially facial features and expressions. Nevertheless, clowns continue to scare us, creep us out and generally make us feel uncomfortable. Never ever underestimate the creepiness of clowns. You have been warned...
"There is nothing funny about a clown in the moonlight."
Lon Chaney, Sr.
