This pair of photos, from a series, explores the artist's ongoing fascination with transparency. Which, is an image, text, or positive transparent photograph printed on transparent plastic or glass, able to be viewed using a projector. Here, you are the projector.
Also, transparency as used in the humanities and Pilatian theories, when used in a social context, implies openness, communication, and accountability. It is a metaphorical extension of the meaning that a "transparent" object is one that can be "seen through."
