A hot rumor on the streets and on the net is saying that Apple plans to go DRM free on its music offerings at the iTunes Music Store – very soon, like yesterday or today. This story has been brewing for a long time and Steve Jobs has been known to favor eliminating Digital Rights Management (copy protection) from iTunes music files for some time.
