iTunes Store To Go DRM Free?

c>log
A hot rumor on the streets and on the net is saying that Apple plans to go DRM free on its music offerings at the iTunes Music Store – very soon, like yesterday or today. This story has been brewing for a long time and Steve Jobs has been known to favor eliminating Digital Rights Management (copy protection) from iTunes music files for some time. It now appears that this might just be happening. In an open letter entitled Thoughts on Music, Steve Jobs ponders three different alternatives for the future of DRM. You can view his open letter on music by clicking here. After that, you could just hop on over to the iTunes Store and see for yourself. Happy listening!
