Repo Man: The First And Last Scenes

c>log
The punk movement of the 1980s inspired and brought to life the vision of director Alex Cox in his cult-classic 1984 movie Repo Man. The story involves Otto, an out-of-sorts punk rocker living in Los Angeles in the mid-1980s, who becomes a repo agent for the Helping Hand Acceptance Corporation. Otto soon discovers that the life of a repo man is always intense – a hectic state that satifies Otto's young punk attitude and need for excitement. In fact, the life of a repo man is way more intense than being a punker. This plays out as the repo men set out in search of a 1964 Chevy Malibu with a mysterious $20,000 bounty for its repossession. This video contains the first and last scene of Repo Man. The opening credit sequence is outstanding and the first scene is creepy and mysterious. But, the final act, which resembles some sort of post-modern junkyard resurrection scene, is one of the oddest and surprising endings to ever conclude a film. Remember, the life of a repo man is always intense.....
