4:13 Dream Marks The Cure's 13th Album

c>log
The Cure has finally released its 13th studio album after many delays and disappointments. The album, entitled 4:13 Dream, was intended to be a double album in spite of the fact that the band had recorded 33 songs for the effort. And strangely, many of the songs were actually recycled songs from The Cure. Robert Smith, frontman for the band and noted goth/emo icon, has said the album is more upbeat than most would expect (but don't worry there are plenty of dark songs left over for another album release). The Cure wouldn't be The Cure if Robert was totally happy, right? This album is nothing groundbreaking for The Cure, in fact it could be called classic Cure much like 1989s Disintegration.
