Depeche Mode, that great little synth band from the 80s, has announced a new deal with EMI Music that includes a special exclusivity clause that will allow EMI to release and market the band's music in the U.S.A. for the very first time. Previously, their music has been released in the U.S.A. under sub-labels such as Sire Records and Reprise Records.

The date announced for the release of the new Depeche Mode album is April 21st, 2009. The band also announce a European leg to their upcoming Tour of the Universe 2009 which will launch in Israel on May 10th, 2009. Just can't get enough...
