Rumor Is False: No Reunion Tour For Led Zeppelin

c>log
No Led Zeppelin reunion tour – for now anyway. A statement by Robert Plant on the his website explains that Robert has no intention of touring with anyone for at least two years. Further, the statement warns rock fans about the possibility of fake tickets for such a reunion tour being sold online.
"Contrary to a spate of recent reports, Robert Plant will not be touring or recording for Led Zeppelin. Anyone buying tickets online to any such event will be buying bogus tickets."  [Official Statement]
The rumors of Led Zeppelin reuniting has been circulating for quite some time now. The most recent rumor to circulate is that the other members of Led Zeppelin (Jimmy Page, John Paul Johns, Jason Bonham) were looking to hire another vocalist to replace Robert Plant. Not true. Robert Plant, who is currently on tour with Alison Krauss, wishes the rest of the band well in future projects but urges them to move forward.
