Exhibition: Andy Warhol And Other Famous Faces
c>log
An important part of Andy Warhol's body of works involved his fascination for portraiture. Dozens of these portraits were produced by Warhol and the very image of one of them means Pop Art to almost everyone. The Maryhill Museum of Art in Goldendale, Washington is hosting an exhibition of portraiture works by many other artists in addition to Andy Warhol.
The other artists to be shown in this exhibition include Chuck Close, Red Grooms, Jasper Johns, Jeff Koons, Robert Rauschenber, Tom Wesselman, Jennifer Bartlett, Osvaldo Salas Freire, Takashi Murakami, and Mel Ramos. The exhibition is graciously shown to us by Jordan D. Schnitzer Family Foundation. Jordan Schnitzer is known as a prolific collector of contemporary prints. Andy Warhol And Other Famous Faces will continue until November 15.
