Jeff Healey, the acclaimed blind musician who sold over a million records in the United States has died from cancer at age 41. He lost his eyesight as a child to a very rare form of cancer. He has been described as a "virtuoso" guitar player, the likes of which does not appear very often. As a toddler he started learning his craft on the guitar with a unique style of resting the guitar on his lap. Jeff Healey was nominated for a Grammy in 1990 and is probably best remembered as the guitarist behind the chicken wire at the Double Deuce, the fictional bar in the move Road House starring Patrick Swayze and Sam Elliot. His best known songs were Angel Eyes, See The Light, and a cover of the Beatles' While My Guitar Gently Weeps.
