DB Cooper Cash Is The Real Thing!

Some of the ransom money involved in the infamous D.B. Cooper skyjacking in 1971 has been certified as authentic by paper money experts. About two dozen decayed and very tattered $20 bills were examined and compared to an FBI list of serial numbers for the ransom cash given to Cooper before he jumped from a jetliner and pararchuted with the cash to the forest below on November 24, 1971. Despite having been in the Columbia River for many years the paper money experts were able to link the currency to the crime.
Of the $200,000 given to D.B. Cooper as ransom, only $5,800 has been recovered and that was by an 8 year old boy from the state of Arkansas. The authenticated bills are from his collection of about 25 bills and numerous untraceable fragments (the 25 bills with fragments were actually given back to him by the FBI after the completion of their investigation). No trace has ever been found of D.B. Cooper and the remaining $194,200. There is much debate and speculation as to the real identity of D.B. Cooper. Truly, an American mystery.....
