Customers of Starbucks will be experiencing some caffeine withdrawal today when all of the 7,000 company operated stores will close for three hours today. The closures will occur today from 5:30pm to 8:30pm (local times).
During this three hour re-training period, Starbucks baristas will again learn how to steam milk and pull perfect shots of coffee. Nice, but it probably won't improve the service at your local Starbucks. Things grind to a halt when someone ahead of you orders 10 custom coffee concoctions for co-workers and pays for them all separately and all you want is a large black coffee. Yeah, we said it! Large coffee — the big cup please. Don't make us speak some made-up language in order to buy your products, thank you very much.
